Synopsis

Muthassi is a mythological horror drama set in a secluded Tulu village on the Kerala–Karnataka border. It follows Leela, a devoted mother whose world unravels when her young son begins a terrifying transformation tied to an ancient family curse, demonic ancestry, and forbidden blood rituals. As long-buried secrets emerge and supernatural forces close in, Leela must make an impossible choice between saving her child or protecting the world from the darkness within him. Blending folklore, horror, and emotional depth, Muthassi explores the enduring power of a mother’s love against an ancient evil.
