Synopsis

Shambu Gaddappa, an elderly man living alone in his village, feels increasingly lonely. His friends are busy scrolling through reels on their phones, while his son Tirupati rarely visits him or spends time with him. When Shambu suffers from a toothache, he asks his son to bring him a toothbrush prescribed by a doctor. But Tirupati, caught up with his daughter’s wedding preparations, forgets to bring it. A series of incidents makes Shambu believe that his son no longer cares for him. He eventually approaches the court seeking maintenance from his son. The case comes to be known as the “Pallaburusu” or toothbrush case. Will Shambu win the case? Will Tirupati realise his mistake? That forms the rest of the story.--
